So, I've been teaching elementary school for over 20 years and have a ton of funny stories of crazy student antics. Kids are hilarious... most of the time. I plan to continue teaching for another five years, and then perhaps try something new - or not. I'll see. I grew up in New York as a child, LA as a teenager, and Ohio as a college student. I raised my kids in South Carolina, and now I'm here in Atlanta, Georgia. As you can see, I have lived in all four corners of our country and still know people all over. But what is most interesting is the various perspective each area has of our country. I generally enjoy positive people with an optimistic viewpoint. I've traveled mostly to Europe and speak some German, but I've also traveled to Canada and Mexico. I want to go to South Korea, Thailand, Seychelle Islands, Greece, and see the pyramids in person. Life is more about experiences and relationships than the stuff we collect. So, these are my priorities. Currently, I'm in the years where I'm beginning to care about planning for retirement. Mostly I'm learning I should have cared much earlier. I'm also learning that it would be wise to actually start putting the money I give away to the gym each month to use, by going to the gym. Who am I? I love watching movies, going to museums, seeing plays, trying new foods, exploring restaurants, going all out for Holidays, enjoying family, and just trying to make the most of life. I have a son in college and a grown professional daughter who lives in the downstairs apartment, when she's not traveling for work. I also have two friendly dogs. JR loves to take walks, and Red has anxiety about taking walks. They look just as different as they act. I've always had a very inviting, supportive, loving and friendly home. I want to keep up that tradition. I would enjoy sharing this home with you and filling it with laughter and good times.
